PURPOSE: A method of servicing a text message in a mobile communication terminal is provided to simultaneously implement a text message displaying and a text message writing function, to transmit a text message to be replied as a chatting mode service, thereby enabling more convenient text message servicing function. CONSTITUTION: An MSM(Mobile Station Modem) receives a text message through an RF transceiver, and displays the text message through a display(S1). The MSM decides whether a chatting mode selection signal is inputted from a key input unit by a user(S2). If so, the MSM inputs a text message to be replied, and processes the text message with a chatting mode service function, then outputs the text message through the RF transceiver(S3). If the chatting mode selection signal is not inputted, the MSM inputs a text message selection signal, and performs a storing or a deleting function of the corresponding text message.
