PURPOSE: A multimedia contents transmission system and method is provided to transmit multimedia contents to a receiver with an automatic execution agent which automatically sets a system environment for regenerating the transmitted contents so that it can regenerate the multimedia contents at a receiver system as soon as the multimedia contents is transmitted. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of editing multimedia contents, generating header data based on the edited contents and an automatic execution agent, attaching an automatic execution agent module in a file of the multimedia contents, integrating the agent module with the file of the multimedia contents for generating an execution module, transmitting the execution module to a receiver via an e-mail, loading the execution module at the receiver(301), analyzing the header data(302), extracting the multimedia contents from the execution module(303), executing the automatic execution agent for checking a receiver system environment(304, 305), automatically installing a contents regenerator via a download step in a case that there is no contents regenerator at the receiver system(306, 307), executing the regenerator(308), loading the multimedia contents at the regenerator(309) and regenerating the multimedia contents(310).
