PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder that can execute recording by internal and external reservation and satisfy a desire of a user even when a reservation for continuous execution is made. SOLUTION: When continuous execution reservation is found (S103), a reservation management section 13 completes the execution of internal reservation earlier than the actual completion time (S104) so as to avoid a recording start request by the external reservation from being rejected.
