PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide storing device and storing method of coal capable of realizing space saving in storing a plurality of kinds of coals and efficiently taking out any coal. SOLUTION: This storing device S comprises a silo 1 for storing the coals, a charge port 2 disposed in the upper part of the silo 1 for charging coals, a delivering port 3 that is disposed under the silo 1 and delivers the coals stored in the silo 1, and conveying devices 5, 6, 7, and 8 for conveying the coals delivered from the delivering port 3 to the charge port 2.
