PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any illegal access to an information processor. SOLUTION: A key switch 11 of a character input device 1 comprises a key input detecting means 101 for detecting the key input by a user, and a finger print authentication LSI 102 for authenticating a person by collating the finger print image with the finger print image of a pre-registered regular user. An input device control LSI 12 has a character code generating means 201 for outputting the predetermined character code corresponding to the key switch with the key input detected therefrom when the key input is detected. The information processor 2 has an output permitting means 21 for capturing the character code in the information processor only when the authentication result is collated and agreed.
