PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a low bit-rate voice coding/decoding for a voice codec of digital mobile communication and for a voice synthesizer so as to voice output of various equipment, by eliminating the occurrence of pitch errors, using a long-range prediction for the coding of pitch synchronization. SOLUTION: The coding device is provided with an A/D conversion section 1 which obtains digital voice signals from analog voice signals; a synthesized waveform storage section 2 which stores the synthesized waveforms obtained by decoding past codes, an acoustic analysis section 3 which obtains long range prediction coefficients and one-pitch fundamental waveforms by conducting pitch analysis and long range prediction analysis, with respect to digital voice signals of a certain segment; a fundamental waveform coding section 4, which conducts a coding for the fundamental waveforms of one-pitch obtained in the section 3; and a voice synthesis section 5, which generates synthesized waveform, based on the codes obtained by the sections 3 and 4 and stores the waveforms in the section 2.
