<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ATM switch that can select a detour path in the unit of paths without increasing cell transmission delay and easily switch paths automatically or manually in response to a command from a maintenance personnel or a switching instruction from a network supervisory device depending on the state of an output channel. SOLUTION: An information table switching control section 12 obtains an optimum path switching pattern depending on the state of channel of an output port acquired from or notified by a channel state detection section 14 and switches mapping between an output port information area of output route information tables 11-1-11-3 and output port information stored in an output information memory. The information table switching control section 12 switches mapping between the output port information area of output route information tables 11-1-11-3 and the output port information stored in the output port information memory upon request from a command control section 13.</p> |
