PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time up to starting use, and to improve workability while using a large capacity of capacitor as an electric energy storage means in a control device of a faucet for controlling a solenoid valve by using a power generation means, a primary battery, and energy by power generation. SOLUTION: This control device of the faucet has the power generation means, the primary battery, the capacitor charged with output of the power generation means or the primary battery, a voltage convering means for converting voltage of the capacitor into a specified voltage, a faucet control circuit operated by power supply from the voltage converting means, and the solenoid valve for opening and closing a passage by the faucet control circuit, and has a preliminary charging means for charging the capacitor to the specified voltage or larger.
