PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for tracking raw material in a conveyor for a blast furnace with which detection of the raw material is possible by simulating the movement of the conveyor using software. SOLUTION: In order to catch the position of the raw material on the conveyor, a fixed distance of the conveyor laying the actual raw material on a memory in a PLC, is allotted as one bit, and the movement on the conveyor is simulated to perform the tracking of the raw material.
