PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch the delivering direction of a sheet member with a simple constitution without mounting a special driving source on a passage crossing part where plural passages in the sheet member delivering device are crossed. SOLUTION: This sheet member delivering mechanism is provided with a switch guide 12 for switching the advancing direction of the sheet member at the passage crossing part 19 wherein a first passage 20, a second passage 22 and a third passage 24 are crossed for delivering the sheet member, the switch guide 12 is abutted on a delivering roller 14c by self-weight or elastic force to cut out the third passage 24 and the passage crossing part 19, when the sheet member is delivered between the first passage 20 and the second passage 22. The switch guide 12 is pressed to the sheet member to open a passage with respect to the passage crossing part to allow the sheet member to pass therethrough, when the sheet member is delivered from the third passage 24 to the first passage 20.
