<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for calculating part storage volume, and a program recording medium, capable of obtaining accurate storage volume before receiving parts required for production of products, and taking appropriate measures against shortage of storage volume. SOLUTION: Given data, parts information, simulation information, and storage method information respectively inputted in a given-data inputting part 1, a parts information inputting part 2, a simulation data inputting part 3, and a storage method inputting part 4 are stored in a database 6. A required area calculating part 10 of a control part 5 calculates an area required for storing the parts for each part based on the given data, the parts information, the simulation information and the storage method information stored in the database 6, and outputs calculation results to a display indication part 11 and a printer output part 12. Simulation is performed based on the simulation information by the control part 5 to calculate an appropriate warehouse area.</p> |
