PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin bottle carrying device which can be used for both of resin bottles 4A and 4B whose shapes of neck portions 44A and 44B are different. SOLUTION: The resin bottles 4A, 4B carried by this carrying device have cylindrical portions 42A, 42B and the neck portions 44A, 44B forming flange portions 43A, 43B. A first conveyor means 2 is provided with a gripper 14 for holding the cylindrical portions 42A, 42B. A second carrying means 17 is provided with a supporting means 16 for supporting lower faces of the flange portions 43A, 43B. The gripper 14 is attached on a gripper wheel 12 connected with an outer periphery of a rotary plate 10. A rectangular height regulating portion 22a is provided on a type changing member 26 rotatable to the gripper wheel 12. On the rotary wheel 10, a groove 10b which can be engaged with the height regulating portion 22a is formed. When the height regulating portion 22a is engaged with the groove 10b, the gripper 14 lowers to rotate the height regulating portion 22a so as to get it out of the groove 10b, and then the gripper rises.
