EEPROM DATA COMPRESSION/DECOMPRESSION APPARATUS FOR MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

摘要

PURPOSE: An EEPROM(Electrically Erasable and Programmable Read Only Memory) data compression/decompression apparatus for a mobile communication terminal is provided to efficiently use a storing space and improve a data storing speed by compressing data to store the data in an EEPROM and decompressing the stored data to output the decompressed data. CONSTITUTION: An encoding unit(800) compresses storing data outputted from an MSM(Mobile Station Modem)(500) and stores the compressed data in an EEPROM(900). A decoding unit(1000) fetches the data stored in the EEPROM(900), decompresses the fetched data as original data, and transmits the decompressed data to the MSM(500).
