PURPOSE: An optical device for optical record and reproduction equipment by using a near field is provided to remove a pollutant attached to the lower surface of a focusing lens by using an optical catalyst, thereby preventing the efficiency of the lens from reducing. CONSTITUTION: An optical device for optical record and reproduction equipment by using a near field includes a light source generating light(21), a condensing lens(22) refracting the light generated from the light source for collecting to the lower part, a focusing lens(23) transmitting the refracted light to a surface of a record medium(3) for generating an optical near field, a layered crystal structure film(24) made by coating one of MoS, CdS, SnO2, ZnO, WO3 or Nb composition to absorb light of a visible ray area, thereby resolving a pollutant.
