A layer of foamable plastic is sprayed onto the rear side (15) of the front panel (8) and allowed to foam. The resulting foam layer (18) has a front side (19) bonded to the rear side of the front panel and a rear side (20) with an uneven surface structure. The rear side of the foam layer is smoothened out mechanically and then the rear panel (9) is secured to it. An Independent claim is also included for a door made using this method. |
