PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data broadcast receiving apparatus and a data broadcast transmitting system, in which the security of data can be ensured at writing and reading; and the data can be utilized by different broadcasting stations among one other. SOLUTION: In the data broadcast reception apparatus, when the data, such as viewer information is stored in a nonvolatile storage region 37 used by both a first and a second broadcasting stations in common on the basis of data broadcast contents 363 and 364, a receiver performs the function of detecting second information in a reception state and writing it as a function of a receiver at writing, and a function of detecting third information in a reception state, recognizing the agreeing of the third information with third information written in the storage region 37, and reading the data, only when the data agree. Thus, illegal writing or illegal reading can be eliminated, and safe sharing of the data can be realized. |
