PURPOSE: A tube for heat exchanger is provided to prevent damage of the tube due to the outer impact and to remove the restriction on the direction of the tube. CONSTITUTION: In a plurality of folded tubes(20) arranged between both header pipes of a heat exchanger and having a plurality of passages(4) divided by partitions(3), plates(22,23) are bent over two times to form one side wall of the folded tube and piled up to form a tier of at least three-piling sections, plates(22,23) are bent over one time to form the other side wall of the folded tube and piled up to form a tier of at least two-piling sections, and the upper and the lower plates(22,23) are joined.
