ROAD STATE DATA COLLECTION/MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide road state data collection/management system and method capable of collecting information concerned with the congestion state of a road without installing monitoring devices on the road and grasping the accurate congestion state in real time. SOLUTION: A congestion state data collection device uses the road state data collection/management system capable of specifying a vehicle group passing an optional identical road section based on the positional information of respective vehicles and determining time required for passing the section and the moving speed of the vehicles passing the section based on the moving speed information of the vehicles.
