PAGING SYSTEM, METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paging system that can conduct paging even when absence setting is applied to a telephone of a called party in the case that a moving destination of the called party to be called is not known. SOLUTION: Upon the receipt of a signal corresponding to an extension number of a telephone 1a-1, a control computer 3b discriminates whether or not the number of the telephone 1a-1 is registered as an absence number, references an absence paging link table 3c-2 when the absence is registered and sets a connection path between a subscriber circuit 1b-1 and a paging connection trunk 5 only when the paging is available. When a telephone 1a-2 existing around a called party to be called by the telephone 1a-1 enters a paging reply special number, the control computer 3b sets a connection path between a subscriber circuit 1b-2 making a notice of the paging reply specific number and the paging connection trunk circuit 5 and releases the connection path between the subscriber circuit 1b-1 and the paging connection trunk 5.
