PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent environmental pollution, and to reduce energy consumption and save energy. SOLUTION: In a vacuum traveling tube 3 which has declining gradient, a track 2 and a transfer body 1 are arranged. This track 2 has a ferromagnetic rail 21, and the transferring body 1 has magnetic bearings 13 which use magnets together opposing the rail 21. Each of these magnetic bearings 13 comprises a permanent magnet 131 in a part of its magnetic pole construction, and magnetic flux by coils is controlled so that the own weight of the transferring body 1 and the attraction force of the permanent magnet 131 balance. Consequently, the transfer body 1 runs by a difference in the altitude (potential energy) generated by the declining gradient, being levitated and hung by the track 2.
