PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means to form good-quality improved soil by securely preventing corotation of the improved soil in constructing an improved column body for improving soil bearing. SOLUTION: This agitating machine for ground improvement 100 provided with a corotation preventing mechanism is provided with a corotation preventing member 15 extended along an axial line of a rotation shaft 10 to be close to an enlarged blade 13, a connection pipe 16 rotatably engaged outside the rotation shaft 10 close to the enlarged blade 13, a distortion restricting plate 17 for connecting the corotation protective member 15 to the connection pipe 16, and a support member 18 for elevatably and rotatably supporting the rotation shaft 10, and holding the corotation protective member 15 at a desired position to be supported to be elevatable.
