PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk recording and/or reproducing device which holds only the outer peripheral edge of a recording medium like a disk to transport the recording medium even in the case of the recording medium different by size without coming into contact with a signal recording face of the recording medium to stick foreign matters to the signal recording face or damage the signal recording face. SOLUTION: The disk recording and/or reproducing device is provided with a pair of a driving roll 85a and a fixed roll 95a which can hold an optical disk D between themselves in the radial direction, a driving motor 84 which drives the driving roll 85a and gives a rotating force to the optical disk D held between the pair of the driving roll 85a and the fixed roll 95a to rotate it, and an interval adjustment mechanism which approximates or separates the pair of the driving roll 85a and the fixed roll 95a to or from each other to adjust the interval between them in accordance with the size of the optical disk D. |
