The cycle frame includes a damping device (9) anchored on the two saddle tube supports (29) through a transverse stay assembly (61). The damping device can be mounted to swivel in a small angular range about the transverse stay assembly. When viewed from the side the transverse stay assembly is concealed by the saddle tube supports.
