Telecommunications set consisting of a TV receiving device with a remote operation sensor for controlling the function of the TV receiver, an interface for communication with a telephone network, a computer unit for at least supporting the telephone function, a cord-type telephone or a cordless telephone device coupled via the interface to the TV receiver or to an extension set, a detection circuit for detecting the directory number sequence of a received call, a control circuit for the TV receiver display, a circuit arrangement for inserting alphanumeric characters into the ongoing TV image. An arrangement is provided for logic circuit connections between the modules controlled independently of the detected directory number such that the directory number is entered into the TV picture at a given point of the display. A dialing circuit is activated to enable the user to receive the incoming telephone conversation and the dialing results from actuating the operator keys of the remote control sensor.
