The invention relates to a high-temperature resistant aluminium oxide and zirconium dioxide based fine-ceramic sintered material which is produced by mixing particle-shaped initial compounds in water and subsequent sintering at temperatures of more than 1700 DEG C. The aluminium oxide particles have a bi-modal particle size distribution. One fraction of the aluminium oxide particles have a particle size of 50 - 300 micrometers.
