The present invention consitutes an intermittent flow mineral ionizer device (1) that has a body (2), a water inlet (4) and a water outlet (6). The body (2) contains a negative electrode (42) and a positive mineral plate (28) exposed to the water by which the negative charge from the negative electrode (42) draws positive mineral ions from the positive mineral plate (28) into the water.
