FLEXIBLE ARRAY OF CLOSURE CAPS FOR LABORATORY RECEPTACLES

A closure device for closing the open ends of an array of mutually spaced receptacles. The closure device includes a flexible cover configured and dimensioned to overlie the receptacles. An array of hollow caps are integrally formed with and depend from the cover. The caps are positioned to enter and close the open ends of the receptacles. The caps have cup shaped noses with cylindrical side walls joined to the cover by intermediate wall sections. The intermediate wall sections have outer surfaces which taper inwardly from the cover to the cylindrical side walls and are dimensioned to create interference fits with the open ends of the receptacles.
