The sound transmission reduction method has a vibration sensor (1) for detecting wheel vibration, coupled to a frequency analyzer, for determining the main harmonic and an error sensor (2) detecting the residual vibration transmitted to a secondary plane, e.g. the chassis, for regulating operation of a Piezo actuator (3), for minimizing the residual vibration.
