Reactive substances are converted at 125 - 300 degrees C. by electrodes in metallic, electrically insulated supports and if necessary having holes for inlet and outlet of reagents. Pref. the electrodes are insualted from each other by PTFE sealed joints. The cathode has a fine sintered reinforcing coating of Ni carbonyl, and bulk catalyst held by metal mesh. |
