<p>A blind rivet nut comprises an elongate body (2) having a longitudinal axis (5) and a flange (4) formed at one end of the body (2) which extends substantially radially outwards from the longitudinal axis (5) of the body (2). A bore (6) passes through the flange and through at least a substantial portion of the lengthof the body (2) and a seal (26) formed from plastics material is mou lded around the periphery of the flange (4). The flange (4) comprises at least one indentation (20) formed on the underside (16) of the flange (4) and at least one indentation (22) formed on the top surface (10) of the flange (4). The plastics material of the seal (26) is moulded into the indentations (20; 22) to assist in securing the seal (26) to the flange (4).</p> |
