CP27 PEPTIDES AND THEIR USE IN MODULATING CELL GROWTH AND APOPTOSIS

CP27 peptides are disclosed which have cell proliferative properties. Methods of influencing cell growth and apoptosis by modulating CP27 are taught. Increasing the effective concentration of CP27 increases the proliferation of cells and blocking CP27 causes cell apoptosis. These effects can be used in the treatment and monitoring of disease states.
