A photo-sensitive print out material comprises (i) an organic halogen compound having at least three halogen atoms attached to the same carbon atom e.g. iodoform (ii) a substantially colourless compound of the formula: - wherein R 1 and R 2 are each p-dialkylamino phenyl wherein the alkyl group is methyl or ethyl and R 3 and R 4 are H, halogen, alkyl or aryl radical said constituent being present in proportions which yield a black image when reacted with the products resulting from the photo-exposure of (i) and (iii) a binder or support. The material may contain a speed increasing compound e.g. 4-picoline-N- oxide, a stabilizer e.g. triphenylstibine or 2, 6-dit-butyl-p-cresol. The material may be fixed by heat and may be sensitized by exposure to light and then imagewise exposed to infrared. |
