PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a running cost lower and maintenance less than the case a detergent and rinse agent are used for washing and rinsing dishes. SOLUTION: An electrolytic water forming device 20 for forming alkaline water and acidic water by electrolyzing the aqueous electrolytic solution housed in an electrolytic cell is provided and the alkaline electrolytic water formed by this electrolytic water forming device 20 is supplied through an electrolytic water supply pipe 13 to a rinse water tank 6 (or a washing drum 3) of a dishwasher 1, by which the washing water and rinse water of dishes D are obtained.
