The dispenser for cigarettes has a collection zone for debris, and a special ashtray. A dispenser housing (4) is on a base plate (40), with a storage container (5) with a lid (10), a cigarette delivery unit (2) with a groove (11) to hold it, a debris collection zone (29) and ashtray (28). The storage container has guide walls (8) and extension walls (16). The ashtray is fitted with the debris collection zone, and has a spring-loaded closure cap (36) for the cigarette extinguishing sleeve (39) which is operated by a press button.
