A composite video signal displayed on a television screen is provided to left and right eyes through left and right incident windows (1,2), a rotating shutter plate (5) including a transparent widnow, and left and right object lenses (3,4). A photo interrupter (12) generates a pulse signal to detect a rotating speed of the rotating shutter plate and provides a clock signal to a coincidence circuit (15). The composite video signal is also divided into a vertical sync. signal and sent to the coincidence circuit. The coincidence circuit controls a speed control circuit (18) and a motor driving circuit (19).
