PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film supplying device for securely supplying a film to the predetermined supply position in the predetermined timing independently of the length of the film. SOLUTION: This film supplying device is formed of a base material supplying means 10 for continuously feeding a long size label forming base material M delivered from a base material delivery part at the predetermined speed, a base material cutting means 20 formed of a fixed blade 21 and a rotary blade 22 and for cutting the label forming base material M fed at the predetermined speed by the base material supplying means 10 into the predetermined length in order, and a label carrying means 30 having a carrying belt 31 for carrying the label formed by cutting with the base material cutting means 20 to a label supply positionαin order in the condition that label L is sucked. The carrying belt 31 is driven for rotation by a servo motor separately provided from a rotary blade 22 driving servo motor 22. The label L carrying speed can be adjusted by controlling the carrying driving motor on the basis of the detection timing of the label L to be detected by photo tubes 51a and 51b during the carrying.
