PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that when temporary fixing is effected by coating an instantaneous adhesive agent along the lower edge of a work, placed on the placing surface of a work pallet, a holding force for a work is weak and positioning precision of a work is adverse due to the influence of a layer of the adhesive agent entering a space between the under surface of the work and a placing surface. SOLUTION: The work 4 is set, as shown in Fig. 3 (a), in a positioning state on a placing surface 2 of a work pallet 1 and pressed. When the instantaneous adhesive agent 5 is fed, as shown in Fig. 3 (b), in a groove 3 of the placing surface 2 from the periphery of the work 4, the instantaneous adhesive agent 5 is extended in the groove 3 along an under surface 4a of the work 4. Since a reference surface 2a the placing surface 2 except the groove 3 can be brought into direct contact with the under surface 4a of the work 4, positioning precision of the work is high. Firm temporary fixing is practicable by an adhesive layer 6 in the groove 3 having depth of 10-100μm.
