PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing device capable of satisfactorily polishing a glass conveying roller of an elongate shape manufactured of a brittle material such as silica without causing its fracture or damage. SOLUTION: In this polishing device 10, the silica roller 20 is supported and rotated by a roller rotating part 14 and a roller support part 16, and the roller 20 is polished while a polishing head 18 is moved in the axial direction of the roller 20. |
