PURPOSE: To provide a motor-driven bicycle having the capability of using a headlight, a buzzer and other electrical equipment without separately using an external battery, or even when the bicycle stops. CONSTITUTION: Regarding a motor-driven bicycle equipped with an electric motor 2 as a power assist for driving a wheel, a battery 4 as a driving source for the motor 2, and a control means 6 for the motor 2, an external terminal 34 is connected to the battery 4 via a current limiting means 33, in parallel to the motor 2 and the control means 6 thereof, for preventing the preset value or more of current from flowing to the terminal 34. According to this construction, even when much current flows to the motor 2, due to a travel on an uphill or the like, with electric equipment connected to the terminal 34 for use, the battery 4 is kept free from a concern about damages due to an overload. |
