VEGETABLE CUTTER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF ITS CUTTING UNIT

A vegetable cutter includes a flat support and at least one cutting unit made as a line of blades projecting above the flat support and lower parts of cutting unit. Upper parts of all blades form a continuous upper plate and lower parts of cutting unit form a continuous lower plate. Adjacent blades have a common side part. Additionally the cutting unit is fixed on the support by the upper plate. Through holes form single through hole under the cutting unit extended in direction at angle to the cutting direction, and direction means are united in one continuous direction mean. A surface of the extended hole is used as the direction mean. A method for production of the cutting unit of the vegetable cutter includes blanking from thin metal sheet and bending on preset flexure lines. Before bending parallel slits of preset length are cut. They are shifted one in relation to another in the direction at angle to slits. The flexure lines are set by twos near each pair of adjacent slits, all of them are at same angle to the slits. Prolongations of the flexure line of each pair cross the adjacent slits of relevant pair.
