PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet for ink-jet recording which has excellent printing density of an image and ink absorbing properties and high preventing effect on color fading of an ink image caused by influences of UV rays and a very small amount of ozone gas included in the environmental gas during being stored for a long time and a high intra-layer bonding force of a receiving layer. SOLUTION: In the sheet for ink-jet recording provided with at least one layer of an ink receiving layer on a substrate, at least one layer of the ink receiving layer comprises at least one kind of inorganic pigment particles the surface of which is coated with a hydrophilic polymer obtained by polymerizing a hydrophilic or water-soluble monomer with an ethylene unsaturated group if necessary, with a hydrophilic monomer with at least two ethylene unsaturated groups, a hardly water-soluble monomer with at least one ethylene unsaturated group, a monomer with at least one ethylene unsaturated group and bonding with an inorganic pigment through a covalent bond and/or a monomer with at least one ethylene unsaturated group and a quaternary ammonium group and a cationic resin. |
