PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing a defect in a friction welding method in which there is inserted a cylindrical revolving tool made of material harder than a processed object onto the connecting part of the processed object, and moved while revolving the tool along it, resulting in utilizing plastic flow using heat generated by friction between the tool and object. SOLUTION: In hollow parts 6, 7, 8 (not shown) caused on the welding part, there are inserted the same shape of members 9a, 9b, 9c (not shown) as the hollow parts, and welded the portion again using the friction welding method. |
