PURPOSE: A remote software installation system and a method for the same are provided to enable a system manager to install a software at a computer affiliated in a networked management group by using a program of an automatic remote software installation. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a group management server requesting a list of automatic installable softwares to a main server(1S), the main server checking an IP of the group management server and performing a member authentication procedure(2S), the main server offering the list of the automatic installable softwares to the group management server(3S), the group management server storing the list at a database for managing client installation data(4S), the group management server maintaining a wait state(5S), a client, affiliated at the group management server, requesting the list of the automatic installable softwares(6S), the group management server checking installation data on the client(7S), the group management server offering the list to the client(8S), the client storing the list at an automatic installable software data file(9S), the client analyzing the list and requesting a software file to a file server(10S), the file server checking the requested automatic installable software and allowing the client to download the requested automatic installable software(11S, 12S), the client downloading the software and notifying the download of the main server(13S, 14S) and the main server upgrading automatic installation data(15S).
