PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce crosstalk from a transmission signal input lead terminal (terminal for supplying an electrical signal externally to a light emitting element) 14a to a receiving signal output lead terminal (terminal for outputting an electrical output signal from a light receiving element externally) 14b. SOLUTION: One of a plurality of lead terminals 14 on a sidewall 15a constituting the frame 13 of a lead frame 6 serves as a transmission signal input lead terminal 14a, and an adjacent terminal serves as a ground lead terminal 14c. Similarly, a receiving signal output lead terminal 14b is arranged on a sidewall 15b and a ground lead terminal 14d is arranged contiguously thereto. Forward ends of the ground lead terminals 14c and 14d are stretched to separate the inner forward end 24a of frame of the transmission signal input lead terminal 14a from the inner forward end 24b of frame of the receiving signal output lead terminal 14b and the ground lead terminals 14c and 14d have a substantial L-shape.
