PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat-shaped lighting device 100 having expected chromaticity obtained by sharply restraining the dispersion of chromaticity at a light getting out surface 44 of a flat-shaped light guide plate 40, and to provide a display device. SOLUTION: A linear light source 30 comprises a principal point light source 11, a supplementary point light 12, and a linear light guide body 20 making the light from the principal light source 11 get in at its one end 21, making the light from the supplementary light source 12 get in at its other end, and making the light linearly get out. When the coordinate of the principal point light source 11 is made (x1, y1), and the coordinate of the supplementary point light source 12 is made (x2, y2), the relation between x1 and x2 is x1<x2. |
