PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for detecting the location of an information terminal moving in the space and providing information depending on the detected location. SOLUTION: The method for providing an information terminal moving in the space with required information depending on the location thereof comprises (1) a step for disposing a plurality of information communication units having a communicable distance shorter than the spatial distance in the space, (2) a step for estimating the location of a mobile terminal based on the location of an information communication unit communicable with the information terminal (mobile terminal) moving in the space, and the location of an information communication unit noncommunicable with the mobile terminal, (3) a step for selecting and/or processing information to be transmitted preferentially to the mobile terminal based on the estimated location of the mobile terminal, and (4) a step for transmitting selected and/or processed information from an information communication unit communicable with the mobile terminal.
