PURPOSE: A method for bidding for a commodity is provided to decide a successful bid when a member participates in a bid of a commodity and suggests a wanted purchase price through a computer or a wireless communication terminal and the suggested price is more than a contract price of the commodity by publicizing a market price of the commodity on condition that the contract price is set previously and not open to the public. CONSTITUTION: If a buyer connects to an electronic commerce site, a member registration is induced and the member searches and selects a commodity loaded in a homepage. If a commodity is selected, a market price of the commodity is publicized and bid participation is induced. If the member participates in the bid, a bidding price of the commodity is inputted and an input error thereof is checked. If an input error is not generated, the bidding price inputted by the buyer is compared with a pre-set price. If the bidding price inputted is less than the pre-set price, a bid is induced again. The bidding processes are continuously at the lower price, a set price is publicized and a commodity purchase is induced. If the bidding price inputted is more than the pre-set price, a successful bid is decided and a commodity delivery is performed.
