发明名称 APPAREIL FOURNISSANT DES BRINS DE MATIERE FIBREUSE PARALLELES
摘要
1308952 Knitting machines CROMPTON & KNOWLES CORP 12 March 1970 [13 March 1969] 11984/70 Heading D1C A carriage is reciprocated above and perpendicular to the direction of movement of a pair of conveyors 20, 22 to extend a band of strands between holding elements 72, 74 on each conveyer after which the strands are each carried one band width along one conveyer to further holding elements 72, 74, the conveyers moving one band width for each carriage traverse so as to form a system of threads which can be knitted into warp chains to form a fabric. The carriage has forward and rearward walls 76, 78 with respectively bearing members 77 and rollers 80, 82 which engage shafts 84 and 86 extending across conveyers 20, 22. Strands from supply packages extend through guide holes 121 in an upper guide rail 122 extending between walls 76, 78 and through holes 123 in a lower guide rail 124, and as many as one hundred may be laid at one time. Parallel levers 128, 130 are pivoted to wall 78 and connected by vertical links 134, 136 being held horizontal by balance rods 146. Links 134, 136 carry presser bars 150, which lower the strands to engage hooks 74 when rollers 138, 140 at the ends of lever 128 engage cams 142 respectively at either end of the carriage traverse so as to rock the appropriate lever 128, 130. A rake 152 on each side of the machine slides on rods 158 and has a series of tines 162 whose spacing corresponds with that of elements 72. A follower 176 on rake 152 engages a cam 174 which revolves once for each reciprocation of the carriage. During strand laying, strands a-e extend from hooks 1-5 on conveyer 22 to carriage 75 and lie in front of hooks 1'-5' on conveyer 20 and behind tines 1"-5" on rake 152. As carriage 75 reaches the right hand side the rake moves rearwardly and tines 1"-5" carry the strands back one band width to be aligned with hooks 6'-10' on to which they are dropped as the carriage moves back. The knitting machine comprises sliding latch needles 190 sliding between trick plates 175 and yarn guides 198 feeding yarns 200. Each course of knitted loops takes in one strand which is held until taken into the loops. The strands are cut by cutters 218 and then held by wheel 220 of rubber or the like whose periphery engages hooks 74. The strands are pushed into the needles by comprssed air from openings 214.
