PRESSURE SENSOR, CONTROLLING DEVICE FOR PRESSURE SENSOR, AND PRESSURE SENSOR SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To automatically distinguish a type of a pressure sensor even if the pressure sensor has three input/output lines, i.e., two power source lines (plus and minus lines) and a voltage output line outputting a voltage corresponding to an applied pressure. CONSTITUTION: This pressure sensor 16 has a different current value Ip flowing through a power source line by a type of the pressure sensor 16. By measuring the different current value Ip as RrxIp=Vr (where Rr is a resistance value of a resistor 50) by a differential amplifier 54 and comparing Vr with a voltage range previously recorded in a ROM 68, a microcomputer 64 can automatically distinguish the type of the pressure sensor 16.
