PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device in which a large diameter disk and a small diameter disk are selectively and longitudinally placed and that can smoothly record/ reproduce both the disks with a simplified configuration of a tray. SOLUTION: The disk recording/reproducing device is provided with the tray 4 on a cabinet 1 that selectively supports the large diameter disk 6 and the small diameter disk 60, and the tray 4 is moved between a closing position and an open position. A turntable 21 intruded in the tray 4 ejects the large diameter disk 6 or the small diameter disk 60 from the tray 4 at the close position and the disk is clamped by a clamper 8 and the turntable 21. The cabinet 1 is provided with a guide member 3 receiving a lower end of the small diameter disk 60 ejected from the tray 4 by the turntable 21 and a changeover mechanism 5 that is moved in interlocking with the guide member 3 and in contact with the outer circumferential part of the large diameter disk 6 supported on the tray 4 from the open position toward the close position so as to escape the guide member 3 from a mobile path of the large diameter disk 6 ejected from the tray 4 by the turntable 21.
